How Do Digestive Enzymes Work? Pt 2

In my firm opinion, everyone should take them. It would alleviate many internal problems and create a healthier society in general. As explained in part 1, the why is very simple.

Why Do You Need to Take Digestive Enzymes?

  1. Gut health is linked to mental health and known as the gut-brain axis
  2. Reduces inflammation and speeds up healing
  3. Assists in burning fat/boosts metabolism
  4. Increases oxygen absorption
  5. Carries nutrients to cells
  6. Regulates hormones
  7. Removes toxic waste

The benefits outweigh the costs of NOT taking them. Without them you digest a much smaller portion of every meal and the rest is essentially wasted — literally. (How does that make your checkbook feel?)

North American Diets Reduce Enzyme Production

Fast food.

Junk Food.

Sugar, fake processed meats, you name it, we do it wrong and love it, when we shouldn’t settle for less just to save a couple bucks… The “foods” we create here are often BANNED in other countries simply because they aren’t nutritious at all!

The Spam, Pringles and even your beloved Minute Maid OJ are to blame for our poor health and diets.

Most juice production lines stuff extra sugar into the juices you buy, stripping the valuable fiber and flavinoids you expect to be buying. They’re already full of fructose… they don’t need more!

Maybe someday they’ll create stevia-sweetened juices instead of sugar, but I’m not holding my breath…

When you think about it, that Cuisinart processor you’ve been eager to buy doesn’t seem so costly now, does it?

You actually save more money in the long run, because you get all you need from the fruits you enjoy without wreaking havoc on your body through bloat and sugars…

Just look at ALL those nutes, bro!

Items like chips, sodas, cookies, etc, practically describe the Western/North American diet to a perfect “T”. Right down to the processed Lunchables in children’s lunchboxes everywhere.

Sure, you save a buck or two right then, but how do you think you and your children’s bodies respond to those foods?

They actually create more problems, like hyperactivity which then gets diagnosed as ADHD or other conditions, when it’s really a result of poor diet, stripped nutrients and a lack of digestive enzymes.

We also bleach our meats here in North America using Ammonia, Chlorine Dioxide and other chemicals to remove bacteria and viruses from poultry and other meats. I find that method to be wacky.

At the same time, I understand the need to remove these nasty critters, however I believe that all begins at the farm and caring for animals, but that’s another story for another day.

Digestive Enzymes Remove Toxic Waste Polluting Your Body

Sugars, chemically-treated meats, what else can the world throw at us? WAY MORE!

Your daily life most likely consists of hopping in your car to get from A to B. Pile pollution on top to tack on a new layer of toxins!

Transdermal absorption isn’t as mainstream as it should be, which is why I’m mentioning it in the scope of digestive enzymes. Pre and Probiotics assist in the removal of toxins and waste from all the sources you encounter each day…

Unfortunately, most of the globe looks like a smog-infested post-apocalyptic scene…

Fumes come at us from all directions… Restaurants, sewers, port-a-potties, nuclear plants, and the planes flying over your head spewing exhaust like a fire hydrant.

Can you see exactly how these enzymes and micronutrients truly impact your daily life?

If not, the following is the result of the build-up from all of these crazy sources beating you up from the inside:

  • Allergies
  • Constipation
  • Diarrhea
  • Mental Health
  • Sickness
  • Strange aches
  • Migraines
  • Etc…

Is This Really How We Should be Living and Eating?

Many agree it’s not ideal and eating healthier is both cheaper yet more expensive because frankly, marketing makes it so.

It should be the other way around, eating healthier should be cheaper because it requires LESS chemicals, LESS danger and MORE care.

Therefore answering the question of “how do digestive enzymes work?” is actually a really big deal!

You need enzymes to truly experience life as healthy as you can. Most of all toxic buildup occurs without enzymes and you’ll be affected slowly, but over time it catches up to you through various forms like joint paint or even headaches and being easily agitated.

Other factors play into the mental health arena, but the most basic of them come down to a toxic body missing friendly enzymes to give a helping hand.

Conclusion

As you can see, there are a plethora of reasons to take digestive enzymes. They’re the unspoken health heroes that deserve more attention. The gut-brain axis needs to be mainstream.

Your body will thank you and you’ll have energy to do everything you need and want without wasting a hefty part of the foods you eat.

I bet you’ll LOVE taking them and notice their effects immediately!

Are you willing to pick up a bottle and take a couple of caps with each meal and see how you feel?

I’d love to see how you’ve changed after just 30 days with digestive enzymes. Do you already take digestive enzymes?

Leave a comment and let me know how they’ve affected your life!
